Engage And Elevate

ISHMA 3 stood as a living embodiment of the vision of the Kawtha Koi Foundation—where art assumed the role of a shared language, and culture unfolded as an open space for inclusion, dialogue and collective experience.

At the heart of the Foundation’s philosophy lies Kawtha Koi—the enduring tradition of telling stories, listening to them and holding them together in continuity.

This essence found clear and eloquent expression through ISHMA 3.
Through classical music, this vision was carried forward in a manner that resisted distance or elitism. Music did not present itself as an exclusive or remote art form; instead, it emerged as a profound, contemplative and immersive experience—one that invited presence, reflection, and inner connection.

Here, music was not merely performed—it was felt, shared and carried forward as a lasting memory.

The cultural landscape of ISHMA 3 unfolded through a multidimensional dialogue encompassing classical and semi-classical music, dance and instrumental performances.

The event featured distinguished participation by:
Shri Jyotishk Dasgupta, associated with C4 School of Music, in Western and Indian classical music performances;

Smt. Soma Mukherjee, in Indian classical vocal music;

Shri Satyajit Dasgupta, in Indian semi-classical and other vocal traditions;

Tapasya Dance Ensemble, in dance performances;

Smt. Bishnupriya Chakraborty, in Indian classical vocal music;
along with dedicated artists presenting Indian classical instrumental music.

In alignment with the Foundation’s commitment to inclusion and social engagement, ISHMA 3 brought together diverse audiences, communities, and voices within a traditional setting. In doing so, the boundaries between performer and listener, tradition and contemporary life, gradually dissolved. What took precedence was not merely artistic excellence, but participation, empathy, and a shared sense of belonging.
Through ISHMA 3, the Kawtha Koi Foundation reaffirmed its belief that culture attains its true strength only when it is collectively lived—when it initiates dialogue, nurtures sensitivity, and allows stories to transcend the boundaries of difference. In this sense, ISHMA 3 was not merely a musical event; it became a continuing chapter in a long cultural journey—one that seeks to build bridges between people, places, and perspectives.
